HR-2 Electric Static Applicator HR-2 is an electric-static applicator. Your HR-2 demonstrates an interesting phenomenon involving the mobility of charged particles. It is capable of producing the following effects:
A) Ability to cause fiber to stand up.
B) Inducing electrical shocks in other people.(which we do not encourage).
C) Causing lamps to flicker and ignite without contact.
D) And many more things. It accomplishes all the above without any direct connections other that the traveling of ions through air. In order to demonstrate this effect, it is necessary to produce voltage of magnitudes than may be at a hazardous shock potential but at relatively small amperage.
